Hello.

The end of the year is fast approaching and for many of us that means it is
time to get our contracts renewed.  By most accounts this year started well
but ended poorly, and next year looks to be pretty tough.  What sort of
expectations do most of you have for your contract renewals?  Are you just
happy to maintain your current engaements with no compensation improvement,
some kind of cost of living allowance or perhaps even a raise over and above
inflation?  What is the consensus view on market conditions?
