I also read this tonight.  While we "consumers" find it interesting that
there is a money trail leading back to the guys screwing with us... I
wonder if the politicians know? care? will actually do anything?

I'd love to see this on "The National" or similar news magazine.  Be
nice if the public consciousness was raised a few bars.

<fantasy> Legislation requiring an ethics watchdog group, funded by
these same guys.  At least then the money would at best go to the public
good and at worst be wasted.</fantasy>
