Ordinarily, I wouldn't post about job opportunities here but this might
be of interest to some of you.

My employer, Lexicom (www.lexi.net) has an opening for a web
developer/backup network admin (one position).

Briefly, the web developer portion of the job requires good PHP
knowledge, strong problem solving skills, good communication skills
(with customers and other staff), and a willingness to work with a
variety of technologies from off-the-shelf CMS systems such as Drupal to
custom built solutions.

The backup network admin portion of the job requires good Linux skills,
in particular with the command line. Knowledge of Slackware is an asset.
It also requires at least a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and
routing. Strong trouble-shooting skills are also required. This portion
of the job requires taking "on call" duties in a regular rotation. ("On
call" means responding to alerts from our automated system monitoring
and very few calls from select customers.)
