They do not get this work done if they are sitting a BSOD (these days
windows reboots automatically instead of showing you the BSOD, but it is
still there.  Often Windows is doing a reboot dance but it is really a
BSOD.  Nothing intuitive about that.

No, you missed my point.  Do *not* confuse familiarity with ease of use.

No, politics will be its undoing.  It actually does not matter if
GNU/Linux gains market share anymore.  It only matters if it gains
contributers.  Right now there are enough people contributing that it
will take political policy to kill it.
