Hi Folks,
I have an 8GB flash drive which is full so I'm trying to remove some of the
directories on it. When I try, as su, to use rm I get the following output:
redcube:/media/disk-1# rm -fr Cottage68
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-008.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-003.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-007.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-004.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-002.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-005.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-006.jpg': Read-only file system
rm: cannot remove `Cottage68/cottage_68-001.jpg': Read-only file system
redcube:/media/disk-1#
What am I doing wrong?
Robin
