[clug-talk] New to town, and to Linux

Welcome to Calgary, and to CLUG.

Our installfests are really more of a tech support day. We do help
people with installations, of course, but we also help with those
odd/nagging problems that are always around. In some cases it might be
help setting up sound properly on a desktop computer, in others it might
be getting a virtual host configured just right on a server.

The usual routine is stop by with your computer or laptop, including
everything you need to make that computer work - monitor, keyboard,
power bar, cables, etc. One of the volunteers will help you get it set
up and then installed and/or configured as needed.

I might see you there!
