I would also check your own connection http://myvoipspeed.visualware.com/
for voip suitability.  Could also be an internal issue, QoS settings,
torrents/downloads, how 'flat' the network is (i.e number and depth of
switches)

You should still be able to get good service even if your provider is based
in another province.

Hi,

Sorry for the off topic post - but does anyone on this list, know of a local
calgary based VoIP provider? I have found several providers but they all
seem to be based in Vancouver or Toronto/Montreal - and the lag time across
the country to make a local call drives me nuts.
