[clug-talk] Black screen on boot mint 7 noob

Hello all

Im new to this list, and hope that I can learn something from all of you


I have tried to install Linux on numerous  occasions and have always
hit a showstopper, this time its no different, Mint will boot, I see
the loading screen then it will show just a black screen, I can access
the console but am lost from there, any ideas?
