[clug-talk] Extending the Signal Range of a WiFi router

Hello fellas,

I have a question: It's not necessarily Linux (or it could be depending
on where you sit). I am looking for a way to extend the range of a
wireless access point to cover several buildings. Here is the setup:

--The Pouter/Access Point is inside the main house.
--I have a shop about 50 meters from the house with a PC that I want to
connect to the network (Using an Ethernet/Wired connection between the
shop and the router is out of the question; so don't suggest that)
--There is a barn about 150m - 200m from the main house (or 100m - 150m)
from the shop.
--I want to connect both the shop and the barn to the Access Point
inside the house.

Right now I'm thinking a) wifi range extenders or b) wifi amplifiers....HELP
