You need something web-based...

Plenty of options, depending on the type of business... (google for CRM 
- Customer Relationship Management)

I am currently looking at Todoyu, but that is more for IT-support (a 
task manager with some CRM functions)

Take a peek in Google-Apps they might have something for you without the 
hassle of setting things up...

convert it to digital that works in Linux??

 Or might any of you have one that works in Linux that you would like to

I have a Konica Minolta DiMage Dual Scan IV that I have used with a software

product called VueScan. I have done several thousand slides with it and it 
worked well. I couldn't get it to work with any sane related products as it 
does group scanning and some correction on the fly.

It scans a sleeve of four slides in a single load. Vuescan worked very well.

Just be careful of dirty slides. They are difficult to clean without
damaging 
them.

It is a bit costly at about $430 and the software costs a bit as well
(around 
$40) - shareware type, not freeware. I bought the hardware at Black's back
in 
05 and the software on-line. I'm still using it so it's not available,
sorry.

The rest of my workflow was GIMP, to crop, clean, and brighten, then into 
Digikam to store in albums.

PS: I did all this on Kubuntu 7.10, 8.04, and 8.10.

I have an Epson V500 Photo which I use with Vuescan 8.  It works fine on
kubuntu on a Dell Inspiron 6000.

I have a PrimeFilm PF3650Pro3 film scanner. I'm using the SilverFast
software (sorry, WinXP only) to perform the scanning and colour/contrast
adjustments and am very happy with the results. I have not been able to
get it to work using sane under Linux.

I found this scanner by studying this film-scanner site:
