WEB PROGRAMMER
Bryan Mills Iradesso (“BMIR”) is seeking an intermediate to senior level 
Web Programmer. The successful candidate has a minimum of five years web 
programming experience and will play a key role in programming client 
websites and online applications including content management systems. 
The Web Programmer will work with our growing web programming and 
development team in our Calgary office.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and implement online programming solutions for BMIR clients 
utilizing a range of programming languages and techniques
Assist web team in building our content management system
Build custom web applications using best practices for the industry
Test and debug web applications
Assist web team in creating and implementing standards for tools and 
techniques for CMS implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

Expert-level knowledge of front end and back end scripting; HTML, CSS, 
JavaScript, PHP, ASP.net
Expert-level knowledge in object oriented programming
Advanced level of data base scripting; MySQL
Excellent understanding of W3C standards and techniques
High-level proficiency in reading code
Solid understanding of browser compatibility, search engine optimization 
techniques and web hosting
Intermediate knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 2 applications (Photoshop 
and Illustrator)
Works well in Windows based environment
Self-motivated, excellent analytical abilities, creative problem-solver, 
ability to plan and organize,
attention to detail
Ability to communicate well with other programmers and non-technical 
team members

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

University degree or equivalent in Programming or Computer Science
5+ years of experience working in a web programming environment
An online web portfolio showcasing programming samples
Experience working with a Web team of 5 or more
