1) usb support on Fedora 13 host running Virtual Machine Manager 0.8.4 gui
Affirmative, it works for me. I'd be glad to respond to questions.
2) for backend storage, vmm and kvm supports all that libvirt does

3) I am taking a run at networking, bridging, etc.
The VIMINAL tutorial series of documentation and working demos sure
offer a extensive instructive sandbox, based on virtualization.
