I'm not sure. I checked the log and dmesg, but I looks confusing. Linux changes the order
of eth at times. When I use ethtool eth3 was the only one I could get info on and I have
the modem connected to the Macronix card if that helps.

I have XP on another partition and it works with the Macronix card.
