The significant other received an PES document (encapsulated postscript)
that she would like to edit. It is a business card template that looks
like it was created by Adobe Illustrator. At the very least the zip
file was created on a Mac (default vista uncompress did not like the
.zip, hooray for 7zip and FLOSS).
The ideal situation would be to convert this to an SVG that I/we can
edit. The ideal solution would be FLOSS though a commercial product may
be considered (at least to do the conversion, FLOSS after that)
Tools that I have used thus far (on my Linux machine).
Inkscape -- does not like the eps file
epstools -- errors when converting
sk1/uniconv -- does not open, errors when converting
GIMP -- can perfectly render (view) the file, but unable to edit, unable
to export to an SVG
Xara -- does not import
Any help would be appreciated.
