[Clug-tech] KDE 4 Question

So I've rediscovered my love for KDE. But I'm running into one major snag
that's really irking me.

I haven't had this problem at work (exact same OS, exact same version of
KDE); but basically, there's no way to cancel a current running "job". So, a
file transfer. I see the basic progress "1 running job (x minutes and xx
seconds remaining", but I am unable to cancel it, pause it, or view the
detailed view.

Has anyone ever seen this before, and how can I fix it?
