Looking for Linux Support? There's a number of ways to get it. We recommend joining the mailing list for your local user group. Here you'll find a place to ask your questions and get input from other Linux enthusiasts ranging from hobbyists to professional Linux developers and system administrators.

Looking for general information regarding Linux? Checkout the links below.

  • CLUG-TALK. CLUG-TALK is the general mailing list for CLUG. Topics covered here include group related issues, tech support requests, opinions on hardware or software systems, and other general Open Source related topics.
  • CLUG-TECH. CLUG-TECH focuses only on the technical support issues related to Linux and Open Source systems. The discussions here tend to be much more focused and in depth. General issues should be sent to the CLUG-TALK list instead.
  • Other CLUG mailing lists

  • Linux Distributions Here are the top ten distributions (according to DistroWatch). View the distro details, pick a distro, visit the distro's home page, and download the distribution directly.

If you're looking for a copy of a presentation you saw at a CLUG meeting, check the Events page for the meeting announcement. The presentation is usually available on-line a couple of days after the meeting. If the presentation materials are available, there will be a link to them from revised Event page.
